Witch hazel is derived from the extracts of of Hamamelis virginiana and is a common folk remedy in North America.
what does it do?
Witch hazel can be applied topically or ingested in herbal teas in small quantities. This ingredient is widely used in skincare as an anti-inflammatory and skin soothing natural astringent.
Furthermore, BRAHSTON uses witch hazel in some of our formulas because it contains a good percentage of tannins, which help block UV light and offer protection from environmental stressors when applied topically.
